The solar farms that now have a date to build by.
A solar farm needs planning approval and a date to connect before anyone orders a module. Either on its own is a hope. This page counts the projects that have just reached the point where construction becomes a question of when.

A region comes from the postcode of the site or centre. Where the record has none, the card is counted as not placed rather than guessed.
By month
A month gets its own page once it holds 5 or more cards.
Named, once a month has passed.
For its first 30 days a card is a lead, and it belongs to Stanfell subscribers. After that the company appears here. Only companies and public bodies are named; where the holder may be a person, the entry stays anonymous.

How this page counts
- What is counted
- A ground-mounted solar project that gained approval, a firm connection date, or both.
- What is left out
- Rooftop systems, projects still in planning, and schemes without a stated capacity.
Why it matters to a supplier
- Construction usually starts within a year of approval and a connection date being in place, and the EPC, the modules and the site works are all bought in that year.
- Regional totals show where land, grid capacity and planning are lining up, which changes faster than most people expect.
- Many sites are co-located with storage, and the same owner is often buying for both.
